My first day
This is what I consider the first day of the rest of my life. I've always considered myself a Christian and even accepted Christ as my Saviour when I was a young girl. My walk with Christ, however, has not been a consistent one. I've strayed from him numerous times, and He was always there to bring me back. But the last several years of my life, I've felt further away from Him than I've ever been. I recently went through a divorce after 10 years of marriage, and I've been desperately searching for "who I am" and for acceptance from anyone I came across. I've made some very bad decisions and put myself in situations that I should never have been in. My priorities have been all but what they should be. And things have just been spiraling downward since then. I feel like I'm at the lowest point in my life, and I know I need to change. I know that I need to turn the control back over to God and let Him guide my life. I know that He has never left my side, even though I had turned my back on Him. He has always been there for me, and somehow has kept me safe and brought me through my tough situations. But I know that I need to change in order for my life to be fully blessed. And I want to be a role model for others, especially my young children. God has already blessed me in so many ways, even though I probably didn't deserve it, but I want His full blessing on my life. I want to feel His presence and let Him shine through me. I have made a decision to rededicate my life to Christ and I'm going to use this blog page to detail my experience. I believe it will be a great help to me to journal my thoughts and experiences, and I hope that it may also inspire anyone who reads it. I welcome any thoughts or advice that readers may have to help me in my new journey. Thanks for reading, have a blessed day.
